Perched in the moment, this majestic creature surveys its dominion in spacetime. Balanced between intent and action, creation and destruction, sacrifice and harvest. A being, determined and master of the everflow, gleaming in technicolor glory.
In the beginning of 2021 I was introduced to the world of NFTs by an old friend and design rockstar Velvet Spectrum who would later give me a much coveted invite to one of the premiere NFT art platforms Foundation. His generosity and belief in my art brought me to tears, giving me more than he realised and I am grateful beyond words.
So I would like to announce that I have entered into the world of NFTs and cryptoart with my digital art series Chromera Ultra found here on Foundation.app. The Chromera Ultra set is made of 3 colour variations of my recently created digital artwork. They are Prime, Neon and Vivid.
The name Chromera Ultra comes from Chimera the mythical beast made up of bits of other animals and Chroma which means colour. So Chromera Ultra is translated to ‘very colourful fantastic creature’.
Prime, meaning first, is in honour of Velvet Spectrum’s generosity, the colours mirroring his first NFT drop and if memory serves, it was his favourite Transformer. It is representative of this current moment, to remember to be optimistic.
Neon burns bright in the darkness and is a metaphor for short-term wins that help you move forward through the hard times.
Vivid is full of brightness and is the ultimate goal of prosperity and a fulfilled life.
